How to stretch your hamstring
- Sit on the floor with both legs out straight.
- Extend your arms and reach forward by bending at the waist as far as possible while keeping your knees straight.
- Hold this position for 30 seconds.
- Relax back into the starting position.
- Repeat as many times a needed
Where is it
The hamstrings are tendons strong bands of tissue at the back of the thighs that attach the large thigh muscle to the bone. The term “hamstring” also refers to the group of 3 muscles that run along the back of your thigh, from your hip to just below your knee. (near your glutes)
